Our Introduction to Mineral Processing course aims to prepare new and experienced industry professionals of all backgrounds for work in mineral processing operations, laboratory environments, and on engineering projects.

This course will provide you with an overview the mining industry, and is designed for professionals new to the mining sector, as well as those working in related sectors such as: investment and finance, suppliers and vendors, government, NGO’s and community groups. This course will cover a wide range of topics including finance and the economy, types of mining and the differing processes and procedures, the impact of mining on our society along with social and environmental responsibilities, as well as a look at the future of mining. This course is designed to be taken at your own pace, and as such there are no group discussions or assignments that require interaction with your class. Instead assessments take the form of modular quizzes intended to test your understanding.
